The diner outside of Akron,Ohio that some say has the very best cheese grits is always packed for lunch.If you ever need to find anyone of importance around lunchtime, your best bet is to try “Smokin Bimbo’s”!! People come from all around to try the deep southern cooking.Those people are also the ones that are usually standing in line outside the door because they don’t know that you need to arrive by 11:15 in order to get a table for lunch. That’s just something everyone from around Akron knows. Smokin Bimbos was once a shoe store. Before that,it was a full blown meat market and before that, it was a small nightclub. It would have been called ‘seedy”back in the day but the old timers remember it for all of the young ladies that would frequent the club. The most famous of them all was a young starlet by the name Mooper Graves.
